Kennel Sensusan is a small sheltie kennel which is established 1996 when mother and daughter decided to start breeding beautiful and healthy dogs with outgoing temperament. We work together with leading shetland sheepdog breeders around the world with true respect for this fabulous breed.

Our goal is the definition of the breed standard; beautiful, mentally and physically healthy, operational and good natured sheepdog for a pet and all-around hobby dog. Dogs that can easily manage everyday family life.

We've bred 25 litters so far. Our first dog landseer male "Olle" (Ch Ängelmäen Oleander) arrived in spring 1993. Our first landseer litter were born in 1996 and first sheltie litter were born in 2000. Our first sheltie "Mari" (Shezadun Azrac Shamarian) is the reason why we fell love in this breed. "Norma" (Scandyline Nordic Beauty) is the "godmother" of our breeding. Studying about genetics, the breed and pedigrees is more like a passion than a responsibility.

At the moment we live at the countryside in small town called Riihimäki. All of our dogs are raised as a family members in a home environment. There's lots of forests and fields near by so it's an ideal place to live with dogs. We love long walks in the peaceful countryside with dogs running and playing around.

All of our puppies are registered to the Finnish kennel club, ID-marked, examined by vet, officially eye examined and de-wormed before heading to their new homes. Not only as show dogs or active hobby dogs, more and most importantly, as well adjusted loving family pet companions.
